Deven King, DVM

Dr. King is a 2016 graduate from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine, with strong interests in small animal internal medicine, particularly cardiology, endocrinology, and ultrasonography, including expertise in performing abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms. Dr. King also has special interests in soft tissue surgery, senior feline medicine, and animal nutrition. Having practiced in Georgetown, KY, Atlanta, GA, and Saint Augustine, FL, he is well traveled throughout the southeast US and is continually looking to pursue additional continuing education regarding recent medical advancements and new techniques.

Originally from eastern Kentucky, Dr. King is a mountaineer and outdoorsman at heart and enjoys hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, running, and traveling with his family anywhere his three dogs (and sometimes senior cat) are welcome. Dr. King and his wonderful wife, Erica, have an amazing 4-year-old son, who also loves all animals. They have three rescued dogs: a Standard Poodle (female) named Ladybug, a Chiweenie (female) named Sunny, and a Chihuahua mix (female) named Winnie. They also report to a senior calico cat (female) named Cupcake. Dr. King and his wife and son love to spend time in the outdoors, with family, and most of all, with the Lord Jesus Christ.
